The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time
I might get hardons for Jodi Picoult books but one of the books that really got me on the horse for reading more was this novel, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Written in the point of view of an autistic 15 year old(so you already know the sentence structure is going to be out of whack) something struck a chord with me to remember that reading books is actually cool and ever since then I've been reading a lot more. That being said, I'm anxious and excited for the production to begin. I am a little nervous that the moviegoers may not respond to it because of their enjoyment of the book more and films are always criticized for not doing their book justice and Curious Incident isn't just one of those stories you can see in the theater and not read the book. There's so much beauty swimming in Christopher's head that it's so difficult to translate it to the screen.
One particular interesting idea in the story that it's a murder mystery about a DOG because the boy loves animals more than humans. He's also writing his own mystery story about the investigation of the murder of the dog, since it's never been done.

NOW ON DVD!!!
We want to make it clear that we have indeed gotten in touch with Kate Beckinsale over the 'ta-ta' comments and admitted it was a tasteless joke and apologized. Kate thanked us for the apology and now time will tell if she will show up in another Grand Island related film. To show our sorrow for the offensive joke, and to prove how proud of her performance we are, we added her image on the DVD along with the title of 'Best Actress'
We just sent a pitch in for a new thriller. Time will tell when we will see it up on the production list but we hope it will take the 'obsessive stalker' story to above mediocrity.

Our award winning/nominated films of Season 11 have arrived on DVD and Blu-Ray.
DVD extras include:
THE ROCK STAR:
The Making Of: Backstage production footage and interviews including Jeff Bridges, Kate Beckinsale, Josh Hartnett, Allison Collins and director Sam Mendes.
Jeff Bridges' screen tests
Alternate versions of the ending including
1: While Jeff bleeds to death, he writes his note but it is never revealed what is on the note.
2: Kate's character walks to Jeff's house and sees the emergency workers stretchering Jeff's body out. Kate turns and walks away, gradually feeling terrible.
Scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor, explained in the optional commentary by director Sam Mendes. Most of the deleted scenes were cut for the sake of time and just not being needed as part of the final film.
The feature film has audio commentary with Sam Mendes, Jeff Bridges, Kate Beckinsale and writer/producer Josh Collins.
Jeff Bridges, Sam Mendes, Stephan Diablo's GMA acceptance speeches, as well as footage of Jeff, Sam, Josh and Kate on the red carpet.

FIREFLIES IN THE JELLY JARS
Making Of: Backstage production footage and interviews with director James Mangold, writer Josh Collins and cast: Abigail Breslin, Daniel Day Lewis, Robin Wright Penn, Jeffrey Wright and Logan Lerman. Collins and Mangold both agree that something fascinating about the film was nowhere in the film does Abigail's role seek some divine power to give her strength. So many 'abandoned/abused kids' in films find solace in religion but she is able to give herself strength and escape into her talents and eventually her crush on Logan's role.
Audio Commentary with Mangold and Collins who talk about more of the technical aspects. Another commentary features Mangold and Abigail Breslin. Mangold jokes that she's not even old enough to see the movie and she says "well as long as I have an adult with me and you can be that adult"
Many deleted scenes that had to be edited out to make the final release of the film with optional audio commentary with James Mangold explaining the cuts. Mangold admits that sadly most of them involved Robin Wright Penn and Jeffrey Wright, but most of their scenes were axed to leave room for Abigail's story, whom it was mostly about. Other scenes included more implications that Daniel's role sexually abused Abigail's in addition to his other verbal and physical abuse toward her. Most of these scenes would have backed up Logan Lerman's line to him at the end 'is it any worse than what you did' followed by Daniel's reaction.
Footage of Collins, Abigail, Daniel and Robin at the GMAs. Also included are Daniel and Abigail's acceptance speeches.

The dramas continue with the ghost story drama set with the similar tone to 6th Sense and the Others. We will be proud of the production, even if it most likely won't make a whole lot of money. Most of our films don't and it's gotten to the point where we just don't care about the money and only want to have a place for others to see our movie ideas. Thank you to all who helped make the movie possible and I'm glad M. Knight didn't put his grubby hands all over it. Yah, I'm talking to you Shymalan. I know Bob Felton is going to talk about you being offended by my blog statements and I don't care. You haven't made a good film since Signs and even THAT was not as good as Sixth Sense and Unbreakable.
In other news, we are still in production of 'Tom Collins' based loosely on the trials and tribulations of my own grandfather during the time that I knew him up to his death. He was crazy, but during his last breaths he totally lost it. There's enough material to write a book or make a movie!
