NOW ON DVD!!!

We want to make it clear that we have indeed gotten in touch with Kate Beckinsale over the 'ta-ta' comments and admitted it was a tasteless joke and apologized. Kate thanked us for the apology and now time will tell if she will show up in another Grand Island related film. To show our sorrow for the offensive joke, and to prove how proud of her performance we are, we added her image on the DVD along with the title of 'Best Actress'

We just sent a pitch in for a new thriller. Time will tell when we will see it up on the production list but we hope it will take the 'obsessive stalker' story to above mediocrity.

1: While Jeff bleeds to death, he writes his note but it is never revealed what is on the note.
2: Kate's character walks to Jeff's house and sees the emergency workers stretchering Jeff's body out. Kate turns and walks away, gradually feeling terrible.

Scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor, explained in the optional commentary by director Sam Mendes. Most of the deleted scenes were cut for the sake of time and just not being needed as part of the final film.

The feature film has audio commentary with Sam Mendes, Jeff Bridges, Kate Beckinsale and writer/producer Josh Collins.

FIREFLIES IN THE JELLY JARS

Making Of: Backstage production footage and interviews with director James Mangold, writer Josh Collins and cast: Abigail Breslin, Daniel Day Lewis, Robin Wright Penn, Jeffrey Wright and Logan Lerman. Collins and Mangold both agree that something fascinating about the film was nowhere in the film does Abigail's role seek some divine power to give her strength. So many 'abandoned/abused kids' in films find solace in religion but she is able to give herself strength and escape into her talents and eventually her crush on Logan's role.

Audio Commentary with Mangold and Collins who talk about more of the technical aspects. Another commentary features Mangold and Abigail Breslin. Mangold jokes that she's not even old enough to see the movie and she says "well as long as I have an adult with me and you can be that adult"

Many deleted scenes that had to be edited out to make the final release of the film with optional audio commentary with James Mangold explaining the cuts. Mangold admits that sadly most of them involved Robin Wright Penn and Jeffrey Wright, but most of their scenes were axed to leave room for Abigail's story, whom it was mostly about. Other scenes included more implications that Daniel's role sexually abused Abigail's in addition to his other verbal and physical abuse toward her. Most of these scenes would have backed up Logan Lerman's line to him at the end 'is it any worse than what you did' followed by Daniel's reaction.
