I might get hardons for Jodi Picoult books but one of the books that really got me on the horse for reading more was this novel, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Written in the point of view of an autistic 15 year old(so you already know the sentence structure is going to be out of whack) something struck a chord with me to remember that reading books is actually cool and ever since then I've been reading a lot more. That being said, I'm anxious and excited for the production to begin. I am a little nervous that the moviegoers may not respond to it because of their enjoyment of the book more and films are always criticized for not doing their book justice and Curious Incident isn't just one of those stories you can see in the theater and not read the book. There's so much beauty swimming in Christopher's head that it's so difficult to translate it to the screen.
One particular interesting idea in the story that it's a murder mystery about a DOG because the boy loves animals more than humans. He's also writing his own mystery story about the investigation of the murder of the dog, since it's never been done.
